Biography
I am a graduate student and completing the program Biology of Disease, with focus on cardiovascular research at Utrecht University, the Netherlands. As part of my study, I relocated to San Francisco where I am working on a 7-month research project at the Division of Vascular Surgery in the Conte Lab. As a research assistant, I am focussing on the effect of high-dose n-3 PUFA supplementation on the inflammatory phenotype and induction of a "pro-resolving" phenotype in PBMCs of PAD patients.
